TDAP Clinic The Health department is willing to come to Mountain Oaks and give free TDAP to any student who is in need of getting the TDAP immunization and does not have private insurance. Parents must be present with them for the student to receive the immunization. This is great for our 6th graders, so that they will be compliant for the immunization requirements for 7th grade. They will not come out unless we have students who want to receive the free immunization. This is a great way to get it done easily and free. All students must be up-to-date on their immunizations to be able to attend school group activities, such as: workshops, field trips and special events. Students who are not fully immunized can be enrolled and meet one-on-one with their mentor teacher but cannot participate in group activities. Restroom Vape Sensors Dear Mountain Oaks Community Members,We have recently installed vape sensors in the All Gender Restrooms and the Student Restrooms in the gym hallway. These sensors will alert staff when anyone is smoking or vaping in these restrooms. Anyone who is seen leaving the restrooms after the vape alert (cameras are in the hallways) can face investigation and potentially discipline. Wall of Fame We have started a Wall of Fame for Students, Parents and Staff at the San Andreas site to showcase some of the amazing people we have at Mountain Oaks.
