Welcome!
My name is Corie Ross and I am a Resource Specialist here at Mountain Oaks. I am very excited to begin my fourth year at Mountain Oaks and my 15th year of teaching. I live up in Arnold in the trees in a place I believe to be the prettiest ever!
I have two children - Evan who is 27 and is a veterinarian currently completing a cardiology internship at Kansas State University, and Jessica who is 23 and works for a large insurance company as an underwriter. I have Murphy, a wonderful chocolate lab and Pita, a sweet rescue who looks like a chocolate lab. I also have my black kitty named Arnold.
I completed my special education and multiple subject credentials as well as my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Notre Dame de Namur University. Last year, I completed an additional credential in orthopedic impairment. I also hold certification in assistive technology assessment.
I feel so lucky to be a part of the Mountain Oaks School community. It is a very special place with amazing students and families. I know this new school year will be the best ever!
