This news comes with a heavy heart, as we understand the impact it will have on our students, families, and staff. Please know that we are doing everything possible to ensure a smooth transition for all involved. Our priority is to support our students and families during this time of change. While the school site might be closed at the end of the 24/25 school year Sonora students can continue enrollment at Mountain Oaks school. If you choose not to stay with Mountain Oaks we will be providing information and resources to assist with the transition to new school placements, as well as any additional services that may be needed.
In the coming weeks, we will be holding meetings with families virtually and in person. There will be an In-Person Town Hall meeting at the Sonora site on 04/02/25 1:00-3:00pm. This is a drop-in session. You will not need to stay the full 2 hours. The virtual Town Hall meetings will be held on 03/31/25, 04/01/25, and 04/02/25 at 3:00pm. These meetings are being held to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
