Robo-Doc News for Mountain Oak Students & Families

What is Robo-Doc?
Robo-Doc is a virtual medical care program for students enrolled in schools in Calaveras County. The program is no cost for all enrolled students. It is funded by the Mark Twain Health Care District, (MTHCD).

How does Robo-Doc work?
Robo-Doc is a virtual meeting a student can have with a physician in the (MTHCD). The student would present to the front office with a minor health care concern. We would check for a signed release allowing the student to have a virtual visit. If there is not a release on file, the school can contact the family for verbal approval. After the student is logged in to the virtual que at the clinic a nurse will evaluate the students health concerns and proceed forward.

Why do we have Robo-Doc?
Robo-Doc was originally created in our county to serve students for minor health care issues that would otherwise require a parent to take time off from work and to reduce the student absences.

I have attached a letter and a consent form from the MTHCD.
