Pre-Registration

Mountain Oaks School is a Non-Classroom based Charter School.  That means that the parents are the primary educators and therefore responsible for providing direct instruction to their students on a daily basis.  Parents are also required to check the homework daily, to ensure that the students are doing their work correctly.  Students are required to complete the minimum number of academic hours each week (as indicated on the master agreement form and their weekly assignment sheet).  Students not completing the minimum weekly hours will be marked absent.  After 10 absences we will hold a Family Support Team Meeting to determine if placement at Mountain Oaks school is appropriate.  Please select "yes" below to indicate that you have read the information above. *

To Enroll:

     1. Students must live in one of the following counties: Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, San Joaquin, Stanislaus or Tuolumne

     2. Students must turn 5 years old by February 2nd.

     3. Students must not be older than 19 years old.

     4. Students cannot be currently Expleed or under an Expulsion contract.

     5. Students within the SARB (Student Attendance Review Board) process must complete 1 semester of successful attendance at the school district of residence before being able to enroll in Mountain Oaks.
