Below are listed ongoing fundraising projects and how to participate. Mountain Oaks is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Each fundraiser takes very little time or effort but can help the school tremendously.

Mountain Oaks is participating in an exciting new fundraising program. The dollars you spend buying products from www.shop.com/mountainoaks support Mountain Oaks, and you earn up to 35% cash back on qualified purchases.

This website has over 35 million products from 2,500 different stores including all your online favorites such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, The Home Depot, and many more.

Getting started is easy

1) Visit our website at www.shop.com/mountainoaks

2) Register as a Preferred Customer
• Click “Sign In” in the upper right hand corner
• Select the “No I am a new customer” option
• Follow the prompts
• You are now eligible to earn up to 35% cash back on qualified purchases

3) Go Shopping
• Use the Search box to find a specific item or type of product
• Use “Shop Partners” to find a specific partner like Target or Walmart
• Use “Shop All Departments” to shop via category such as electronics or apparel
• Use “Hot Deals” to find special deals and coupons to save even more money
• Look for the icon to find out how much cash back you’ll earn on your purchases

Help Mountain Oaks earn Free Supplies!
This unique program for schools can not only benefit us now, but help keep us in free supplies all year long. All you need to do is present Mountain Oak's 5% Back to Schools Program ID #70208199 when you make a qualifying purchase* at Office Depot (in store, online or by phone).

Mountain Oaks now has a vehicle donation program set up whereby your old vehicle can be donated to Mountain Oaks to raise money. Contact Jacqueline Dennis at ext 2227 or Anne Colman at ext 2252 for further information.

As we all know, food shopping totals can add up quickly. Whenever you shop at Save Mart, Smart Food, Food Maxx or Lucky, Mountain Oaks will receive a donation of up to 3% of the qualified purchases.

Thanks for supporting the students at Mountain Oaks School!

It's quick and easy to help raise money for Mountain Oaks School with the eScrip program. All you have to do is register any or all of your grocery cards, credit cards and debit/ATM card with eScrip. Every time you make a purchase at any one of the over 800 participating business partners with your registered card, that company will contribute a percentage of your total qualified purchases back to the school. Some of the eScrip business partners are: Big O Tires, Pep Boys, Eddie Bauer, Linens 'n Things, Macy's, Sierra Trading Post, Food 4 Less, Pak 'n Save, Payless Market, Safeway, Vons, Baja Fresh, Round Table Pizza, Office Max, Sacramento Bee, and Big 5 Sporting Goods.

Here's How it Works:

1. You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program online by clicking on the escrip logo above.
2. Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered.

3. Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf!

Good News - Mar-Val has a new (easier) way to earn money for schools! Gone are the days of collecting and turning in receipts. Now all you need to do is get an eScrip Mar-Val Community Card and use it each time you shop. Mar-Val will then donate up to 5% of your purchases to Mountain Oaks

As you are out doing your food shopping, please remember to use your Raley’s Quality of Life card. If you do not already have a Raley’s card you may pick it up at any of the Mountain Oaks’ sites. When families use these cards, a portion of your total purchases will be donated to Mountain Oaks.

Did you know there’s an easy way to help us raise money for our school—for books, reading programs and anything else that can use extra funding?

It’s called Take Charge of Education, and it’s helping our school right now. Here’s how it works: Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school, then use your REDcard whenever you shop. When you use your REDcardSM (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit Card® or Target Check Card®), Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to the eligible K–12 school of your choice.

Don’t have a REDcard? It’s easy to apply. Get started in person at any Target store or go to Target.com/redcard or click on picture.

You may be upgrading your current cell phone. Don’t know what to do with your old cell phone? How about donating it to Mountain Oaks so that it can be recycled or refurbished, while raising funds for the Mountain Oaks Prom Committee. Mountain Oaks will receive money for each cell phone and inkjet cartridge it receives.

Your donation will not only Mountain Oaks, but will also help protect the environment. Your unwanted cell phones and inkjet cartridges will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and reused. Phoneraiser makes your un-needed technology available to those who can use it, while keeping it out of the landfill. If improperly disposed of, the cell phone can pollute up to 132, 000 liters of drinking water.

Mountain Oaks is participating in the Direct TV 4 School Fundraiser. Mountain Oaks will receive $100 for each person who activates or extends Direct TV service for a year. Please use the school code LMYS for the school to receive the fundraising credit. You can call 1-888-388-4727 to order or go to http://www.directv4schools.com/. Family and friends may also sign up for Direct TV using the Mountain Oaks code.
