LCAP Parent Feedback Survey
We are deep in the LCAP writing process and we have arrived at the time for parents to give feedback on it!
A simplified crash course of what the LCAP is for those who don't know is when we receive money from the state we need to provide a plan on how we are going to spend that money in pursuit of meeting our goals as a school.
These goals that we are trying to meet are based on the "areas of need" found when WASC, the agency that accredits us as a school visits and we work with them to figure out where our school can improve to better serve our students. We then take those "areas of need" and turn them into goals on the LCAP.
Working within those goals we also need to come up with a fair way to measure our progress and what steps we are taking towards meeting those goals. This is known as "Metrics" and "Actions" respectively.
What we need from you is to read our goals, look at the metrics, look at the actions, and provide any feedback you may have about the metrics and actions!
Mountain Oaks has always prided itself on making a student's journey as individualized as possible to better serve our students, but we also pride ourselves on making the school better overall! We find that we can do that significantly better when parents get involved and voice their thoughts and opinions.
This was on the most recent PTO agenda, but we didn't want to limit family/parent feedback only to those who were able to attend in person and have created a Google form. Click article title to fill out the survey where you can give us your feedback! Please complete the Google Form by May 15th. Thank you for your time and input. Posted 5/14/24
